If you play your cards right, you won't have to worry about shipping times, and even if you get a late start, the amount of savings usually makes it possible to splurge on the quicker shipping options (though it's still better if you don't have to.)
No matter which option you choose, you should start the process early, explore your options, and be vigilant when looking for cheap college textbooks.
